6 years ago, a man's age was 6 times the age of his son. The product of the present ages of the father and his son is 396.

1. If the age of the son 6 years ago be ‘y’ years then write the age of the father before 6 years in terms of y.
2. Write the present ages of the man and his son in terms of y.
3. What is the value of y?
4. Find their present ages.
