Solution

The human blood circulatory system, also known as the cardiovascular system, is a network that transports blood throughout the body.

The main parts of the human blood circulatory system are as follows:

1. Heart: The heart is a muscular organ that contracts rhythmically to pump blood. The right side pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs for oxygen, while the left side pumps oxygenated blood to the entire body. Valves in the heart ensure blood flows in one direction.

2.Blood Vessels:

Arteries: Thick-walled and elastic to handle high pressure from the heart’s pumping action. The largest artery is the aorta.

Veins: Thinner walls and often have valves to prevent backflow as blood returns to the heart at lower pressure. Major veins include the superior and inferior vena cava.

Capillaries: Extremely thin and numerous, allowing close contact with body tissues. This is where oxygen and nutrients move into cells, and carbon dioxide and waste products are collected.

3.Blood: Blood has four main components:

Red Blood Cells(RBCs): Carry oxygen from the lungs to the body and return carbon dioxide back to the lungs.

White Blood Cells(WBCs): Defend against infections and play a role in immunity.

Platelets: Help in blood clotting to stop bleeding from injuries.

Plasma: The liquid part, carrying cells, nutrients, hormones, and waste products throughout the body.
