\(\rm CO_2 \) + \(\rm 2KOH \) → \(\rm K_2CO_3 \) + \(\rm H_2O \)

 Among ammonia, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide, ammonia (\(\rm NH_3 \)) can be used to prepare a weak alkali.

  When ammonia dissolves in water, it reacts to form ammonium ions (\(\rm NH_4^+\)) and hydroxide ions (\(\rm OH^-\)), which is a character of weak alkalis.
