There are 8 varieties of monkeys in a zoo. The number of each variety forms a GP. If the $\rm 4^{th}$ and $\rm 6^{th}$ variety consist of 54 and 486 monkeys respectively,

1. Find the number in the first variety.
2. Find the number in the last variety.
3. Find the total number of monkeys in zoo.
