These industries release dust, chemicals, and waste products into the air, soil, and water. Cement factories emit fine dust particles that pollute the air, which can cause respiratory issues and harm local vegetation. Glass and ceramics production generates waste materials and uses high energy, leading to air pollution and significant carbon emissions. Plastic and fiber industries produce non-biodegradable waste that accumulates in landfills and water bodies, posing threats to wildlife and creating an unsightly environment. Chemical fertilizers contaminate soil and water, leading to reduced soil fertility and harming aquatic life. Soap and detergent industries discharge harmful chemicals into water sources, affecting fish and other organisms.

The primary causes of this pollution are the lack of proper waste management, insufficient environmental regulations, and the high demand for these industrial products. Factories often dispose of waste improperly due to limited recycling or treatment facilities, allowing pollutants to enter natural ecosystems directly.

To manage this pollution,
